Art and Media – “Cloudscapes”

Clouds in a building?  Believe it.  And stare in nerdy awe.

Beautiful.

Art and Media Wednesday – Cloudland

I cannot figure if Cloudland in Brisbane, Australia is more garden, more restaurant or more nightclub.  It appears to be all three and the result is absolutely beautiful.

Art and Media Wednesday – High Line Park

A rundown rail track + natural re-seeding of indigenous plants + great idea for a new greenway = High Line Park in New York City

This is a brilliant idea and a beautiful follow through.

My Favorite Vimeo Videos #12 – “Falling Water”

Falling Water

Believe it or not, I was once an architecture student.  And, like any architecture student in the US, I had to like Frank Lloyd Wright.

Fortunately, that wasn’t hard, because the man was a master at what he did.  Falling Water is one of the most famous of Wright’s buildings, and it is truly a gorgeous marvel.

I came across this video on Vimeo by Cristóbal Vila and it is a fairly stunning look at Wright’s Masterpiece.
